Day 1- Arrive at Colombo Airport - Head towards Negombo

15 Kilometers, ½ hrs.

It’s a short drive to the ancient port city of Negombo with its iconic Oruwa boats. We all meet at the hotel lobby and meet the team and remaining participants. Our hotel is in a beautiful setting, so you can either spend time relaxing in the pool or take short walks into this bustling but picturesque city or go to the beach. The beach is close by and sunsets are quite stunning. Enjoy a beer at one of the many beachside establishments and take in the charms of this enchanting island. Those who arrive early can opt for a 2 to 3 hours fishing tour in Oruwa boats on day 01 or can do it on day 10, when the tour ends in Negombo.

Fishing Tour Includes:- It’s a 2 to 3 hours tour, deep in the Indian Ocean. With your life jackets on, you will be in a narrow vintage model boat with the local fishermen and will watch them fishing in the deep see. It’s a different spell bounding experience.

Day 2- Negombo to Sigiriya

156 Kilometers, 4-5 hrs.

We start this trip with a ride to the Sigiriya rock fortress, a most fascinating UNESCO world heritage site. After lunch, we’ll experience traditional village life in Habarana or in the nearby villages. There are packages of 2 hours with or without lunch for a village sightseeing tour.

We can do it on the arrival in Sigiriya or can do it next day morning before leaving for Knuckles. It depends on our arrival time in Sigiriya. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.

Village tours includes: - Bullock Cart Ride, Boat Ride, Tuk Tuk Ride, Village Tours & Fresh Cooked Sri Lankan Village Food for lunch.

Day 3- Sigiriya to Knuckles Mountain Range

90 Kilometers, 3-4 hrs.

After breakfast, we ride towards the the holy city of Dambulla. We will ride to the the 1st century BC, cave temple having 153 statues of Lord Buddha. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The road takes us high up into the clouds to the profound beauty of the Knuckles Mountain Range. The roads are surrounded by green forest area and mountains. Will find few lakes & water falls along the road. The ride will be a delight for the riders. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 4 - Kunckles Mountain Range To Nuwara  Elliya

120 Kilometers, 6-7 hrs.

Another fantastic day of riding on forest trails and lush countryside, before we further ascend to the highlands and tea country. The landscape takes on a different quality where rolling hills that are covered with a monoculture of lush green tea bushes, interspersed with lush ancient rainforests. Sri Lanka colonial past is on clear display with the names and architecture evoking the English countryside. Few huge tea factories will be on the way. Will stop at one and those who wish to see them from inside can buy their ticket and can have a short tea factory tour. Nuwara Eliya has a big beautiful lake with boat rides & speed boats. You can try them if you wish.  Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel

Day 5- Nuwara Eliya to Yala National Park via Tissamaharama

170 Kilometers, 4-5 hrs.

From here, it’s all downhill to Tissahamarama and into the wilderness of Yala National Park, home to leopards and native Sri Lankan elephants. It’s a real forest area….can find Monitor Lizards, Peacock, Deer, Moongoose, snakes etc. on the road side or on the road too. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 6- Yala National Park - Free day

00 Kilometers, 00 hrs.

After breakfast riders can go for a wild life safari.  In the Yala National Park, you can see the leopards and Sri Lankan elephants in their natural habitat. This safari is very famous among the tourist so have to be booked one day prior. We can book it for the interesting riders. And those not going can take a relaxing dip in the hotel’s pool or can visit the local market. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.

Wild Life Safari Cost  To be Paid By the Clients – Approximately, between 15,000 TO 18,000 Sri Lankan Rupees for a 7 seater Jeep + a nominal entry ticket. Let us know if, you wish to book it. It’s a half day safari cost.

Day 7- Yala to Mirissa Beach

138 Kilometers, 3-4 hrs.

We continue along the southern coastline to Mirissa beach. The beaches are magnificent. Turtle beach and Surfing beach are the most famous ones. Can enjoy excellent sea food available on numerous beach cafes. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 8 – Free day at Mirissa Beach

Mirissa beach is a treat for the travelers. You can enjoy it the whole day. Here we can do some whale watching while witnessing the glorious sun set. Dolphins, turtles and the sight of a blue whale will surely lift your spirits to highest.  The magnificent Mirissa beaches are ideal for swimming, scuba diving, wind surfing and whale watching .Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.

Whale Watching Tour Includes: - Early morning pick up from the hotel. Approximately at 6”15 AM. Dropping, you have to book a tuk tuk on your own. It’s a 4 to 5 hours tour, deep in the Indian Ocean. Breakfast is included in the tour.

Village Tour Cost  To be Paid By the Clients – Approximately, between 12,000 TO 15,000 Sri Lankan Rupees/ Per Person. Let us know if, you wish to book it.

Day 9 – Mirissa Beach to Kuruwita(Ratnapura).

242 Kilometers, 5-6 hrs.

After early breakfast will ride towards Fort Galle. Many times, the ride will be having sea on the left side of the road. The road takes us through verdant rainforest and around a myriad of bends and twisties, each more breath-taking than the last, with some spectacular vantage points. Kuruwita as such is not a tourist place but then also rides go to Kuruwita. Why? Because the ride after the Fort Galle to Kuruwita is one of the best rides of the tour. The landscapes, the mountains, the lush green forest and the small villages on the way makes it  the most memorable ride for the riders. Our stay is in Ratnapura, one of the places in Kuruwita. It’s famouns for gem mining. Those who are interested can go on the Gem Tour on day 10, before the ride starts for Negombo. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay at a hotel.

Gem Mining Tour Includes: - After breakfast, pick up from the hotel at 8 AM. Dropping at 10 AM. Both pickup and dropping is included in the package. It’s a 2 hours tour. It includes watching gem mining, gem cutting and visit to the gem museum.

Day 10 – Kuruwita to Negombo

102 Kilometers, 3-4 hrs.

The last riding day presents us with rice fields and white water rafting points. The afternoon and evening are yours to explore Negombo some more, or do some last minute souvenir shopping.

You can either choose to take a car to Colombo airport or if you have decided to spend a few more days in Sri Lanka, you can transfer to your next destination.

Alas, this is the end of this journey.

IMPORTANT POINTS :

• Riders should have an international driving license.
• Minimum age of the rider for this tour should be 21 years.
• Minimum bikes required to start a bike tour is 10 (12+will be best).
• The tour can be cancelled if the bikes are less than 10 in number, per group.
• If any rider wants to leave the tour in between then he has to pay the transportation cost from the leaving point till Negombo.
• Riders must have proper riding gears for the tour or they will not be allowed to join the group.
