DAY 01	NEW DELHI TO CHANDIGARH	238 KM.	6 HRS	NIGHT STAY IN A HOTEL
The mechanic will give a brief introduction about the Royal Enfield bike followed by a brief orientation given by the tour leader for those who were not there on the previous day. The tour takes off to Chandigarh crossing the beautiful fields on the either side of the highway. Breakfast halt will be on a road side dhaba (local restaurants) and that will be the first feel of the country side. Evening is free so if, one wishes can explore the Stone Garden or can have a nice long rest to start fresh, early next morning.

DAY 02

CHANDIGARH TO PATHANKOT

258 KM.

The ride will start towards Pathankot, which is an Army Cantonment are and a busy city. The highway to Pathankot is a smooth one with open fields, small villages, small cities and rural markets on it’s side. It has many army stores in it’s busy markets from where one can buy the stylish army hats, T shirts, etc.

PATHANKOT TO SRINAGAR

NIGHT STAY IN A HOUSEBOAT

The ride will start early in the morning for Srinagar, known as the Paradise on Earth. Today the uphill ride will start. We will cross 2 tunnels and if, lucky enough then after Shyama Prasad Mukherji tunnel, we will try to take some ‘Prasad’ from the langar pandals set up for the pilgrims of Amarnath. We will be moving on NH – 1 & NH 44. Once we reach Srinagar then the beauty of the Dal Lake, surrounded with mountains & the luxury of your houseboat will make you relaxed after the long day ride.

DAY 04

SRINAGAR TO KARGIL

202 KM.

NIGHT STAY IN A HOTEL

The ride will proceed towards Sonmarg, after which we will cross the 1st mountain pass of our journey, it’s the narrowest Zozila Pass, altitude 11,953 FT. To cross this pass, patience and concentration is required or we can say that you will have to apply all your riding experience here. We will have a short halt for the photos. Our lunch halt will be at Drass, one of the 2nd coldest inhabitant place of the world. Then we will be visiting Kargil War Museum made in the memory of our brave jawans who gave their life in Kargil war of 1999.. We will pay our homage to them and will fill ourselves with pride to be in a country which have such brave people.

DAY 05

KARGIL TO LEH

NIGHT STAY IN A HOTEL

Today we will catch NH 1 to reach Leh. The road is excellent & bikes will glide on them. On the way we will cross Fotula Pass – 13,470 FT. and Namkila Pass -12,198 FT. We will visit Mulbek Village at Chamba having the 1st century statue of Lord Buddha of Khushan Period engraved on a mountain.

Will also visit Lamayaru Monastries & will stop at the Moon Land on the way for memorable pics. We will stop at the Pathar Sahib Gurudwara to have ‘Prasad ‘ of tea and sweets. This Gurudwara is built and maintained by Indian Army. After this straight to our hotel.

DAY 06

Complete rest & bike checkup day.

If, health wise one is feeling O.K. then can visit Shanti Stupa ,Thiskey Monastry, Shey Palace, Hall of Fames & can go to the famous Tibet market. This day is free for relaxing, sleeping, exploring & shopping. If, you are interested, then for this sightseeing we can arrange local cabs for you (extra charges). Take rest for the adventure ride of the next day.

DAY 07

LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY

170 KM.

NIGHT STAY IN A HOTEL/SWISS CAMPS

Starting the ride from Leh towards, today you will ride on the highest motorable pass of the world. It’s the most exciting and the most challenging path of the tour. To ride on this road and to reach the Pass is the main target of this 13 days long tour. You can take as many photos as you can with the historical board behind you saying ‘YOU ARE AT THE HIGHEST MOTORABLE ROAD IN THE WORLD.’

On reaching Nubra one can go to the Sam Desert sand dunes, can do camel ride on Siberian double humped camels and can enjoy the cultural evening at the desert organized by the local people of Nubra Valley. It’s a green valley with apricot trees all over, river, snow covered mountain peaks & sand dunes with double humped Siberian camels. Amazing to see all in one single sight.

DAY 08

NUBRA TO PANGONG

170 KM.

NIGHT STAY IN HOTEL/SWISS CAMPS

This is the most lovable road of the bikers who are passionate of doing off road rides. This road from Nubra to Pangong is via Shyok valley and goes along with the Shyok river. This ride is a real dream ride for a biker. The Pangong lake is the highest natural salt lake in Asia. It’s a real treat for your eyes. It’s first look will make you speechless. It’s 160 km. long and has a turquoise color. One third part of the lake is in India and the rest is in China.

The color combination of this crystal clear lake with the surrounding mountains will pamper your eyes. We will stay in the hotel/tent accommodation completely depending upon the availability.

DAY 09

PANGONG TO LEH

130 KM.

On the way to Leh from Pangong comes the Chang La pass – altitude 17,658 mts. It’s the 2nd highest motorable pass of the world.

Crossing Changla we will proceed toward Leh. On the way we will stop for a visit to the famous Thiksey Monastery and then at the Shey Palace.

DAY 10

LEH TO JISPA

335 KM.

NIGHT STAY IN SWISS CAMPS

This road is having many passes. Road is both smooth & rough so the riders have to be very cautious. On the way we will cross Upshi Village & Rumptse Village. We will ride to the world’s 3rd highest motorable pass, the Tanglang La – altitude 17582 mt. Then comes the Great Gyanchuthang Plains. This plain land with a straight road in the centre is approximately 50 km. We will cross Nakeela Pass – 15,547 FT. ,Lachulungla Pass – 16,616 FT.

Will take a halt at Pang, a tough dry place of Ladakh. If, luck enough then far away from the main road you can see the nomads of Leh Ladakh with their flocks of sheep ,famous for Pashmina Wool.

DAY 11

JISPA TO MANALI

115 KM.

Manali is the most visited hill station of India. This route will give you the view of the high green mountains, snow covered peaks, river side road and then the pleasant green field of Kelong valley. We will go to Manali via Atal Tunnel & if found on the road side then will sure taste the flavor of the sweet mountain corns roasted on coal.

MANALI TO CHANDIGARH

Early morning we start the ride toward Chandigarh. From Manali till Kullu the road runs almost parallel to river Beas. We will see the huge Pando Dam on the way. Relaxed evening walk and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 13

CHANDIGARH TO DELHI

DEPARTURE TO SWEET HOME

Today’s ride is the concluding ride of the day. Will reach Delhi and will leave for our sweet home.

IMPORTANT POINTS :
RIDERS ARE EXPECTED TO COME ON DAY 00 FOR BIKE TEST RIDES FROM 11:30 AM TILL 04:30 PM & FOR ORIENTATION MEET AT 06:00 PM.
The most important thing is that the team which will be with the group, will be the in- house Team of Tony Bike Centre. The tour Leader, mechanics, the helpers and the tour manager (the senior most of TBC) will be TBC staff members and are not hired from outside for the tours. They are well experienced & have full grip of this route. You will be traveling with experts & not with fresher. TBC can’t take any risk of your safety.
Minimum age of the rider for this tour should be 21 years.
Minimum bikes required to start a bike tour is 10.
The tour can be cancelled if, the bikes are less than 10 in number, per group (TBC Bikes).
If, tour is cancelled because of less number of riders then the riders of that group can join the nearest date tour or any other departure from our Leh tours or can take the total refund back.
If, any rider wants to leave the tour in between then he has to pay the transportation cost from the leaving point till Delhi.
Riders must have proper riding gears for the tour or they will not be allowed to join the group.
